Year of the Ox
The ox is a symbol of patience, but if provoked watch out, for the fury
of the ox is powered by its strength. The ox is alert, and generally
silent. When required to speak, the ox can be eloquent, courteous, and
ever patient. Success comes easily to the ox, not through greedy or
grasping means, but by its ability to inspire confidence in others. Its
strength is in the number of friends and allies it can rely upon. The
one great failing is that the ox can fall into the trap of bigotry.
They are easily angered and are only too willing to demonstrate their
anger. Avoid an angry ox, for they can hurt you, and it is not a good
idea to confront them, unless you are on solid ground and you have a
means to escape. They do not like to fail, and their stubbornness and
physical talents ensure that they often win, to the point where they
expect it all the time. The ox gets along well with the
rooster, the rat, and
the snake.
