Year of the Rat

Rat people are notable for their unlimited charm. Ambitious and enduring, they will pursue their target until the end. They work hard and long for their goals, even if they have to sacrifice short-time happiness. Although easily angered, they can maintain an outward show of control, unfortunately repressing their feelings more often than they should. They are fussy about details and they pinch pennies to the point of ridiculousness, but to their loved ones they will spend any amount of money. They will lose everything if they spend their money on those whom they love but who do not love them in return. Love can inspire them, motivate them, energize them, but if it is the wrong love, it will destroy them. Rats get along best with the ox, the monkey, and the dragon.

Rats were born in the years 1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, and will be born in 2008.
